projects in development:

Sound Houses Sound Houses are the sonic
analogue of a light house.

Rotating loudspeaker horns, mounted on the top of the structure, bathe the landscape in slowly rotating rays of sound. Designed to be located in spectacular exterior landscapes the structures will be large scale, up to 4m tall, and in the region of five of these ‘sound houses’ will be installed in any given location.

Working carefully with each site Ray will install the Sound Houses so that the beams of sound will combine to create a slowly shifting texture of electronic music distinctive to his work.

Vital Organs:

A towering cacophony of redundant electronic organs’. A computer controlled kinetic sound installation consisting of a room crammed full with obsolete 1970’s electronic organs, piled up high and towering over the audience. The organs are played by elaborate robot arms, arcane insect-like machines whose seemingly random movements combine to create a compelling and entertaining musical spectacle.
